Coir or coconut fibre is a natural fibre extracted from the coconut Husk. Coir is the fibrous material found between the hard, internal shell and the outer coat of a coconut. This will be processed into narrow fibres.There are two types of Coir fibres. Processing of green coconut yields white fibre and mature coconuts yields brown fibre. Comparitively White fibre is thiner than the brown fibre. These two fibres are used in several products depending on their waspyness.
